A key challenge in quantitative interpretation оf time-lapse seismic is finding an adequate rock physics model for inverting geophysical parameters to petrophysical parameters. I do this by analysing vertical seismic profile (VSP) and cross-hole seismic data at Frio CO2 injection site. This analysis yields velocity saturation relationship and shows that elastic properties of the rock are affected by cement dissolution at grain contacts. The methodology is tested on data from the CO2CRC Otway project (Australia). | |
