Fire monitoring over Indonesia using MODIS satellite data is analysed using the Indofire and MOD14 algorithms. The study shows cloud cover, land cover types, seasons, and climate parameters influence the distribution of detected fires. There is potential to adjust algorithm threshold coefficients to correct for wet season versus dry season biases. | en_US |
