The slope failure is a dangerous phenomenon for natural or man-made slopes. Such failures can be assess by different numerical or limit state methods. However, other new techniques can be utilized to simulate the slope failures in more effective ways in order to save the construction costs. In this research, a model based on particle image velocimetry is developed to analyze the behavior of slope stability. This method provide real time safety factors and instantaneous velocities of slope movement which are applicable for shallow slope failure studies. | en_US |
