This thesis improves and develops algorithms for fireball trajectory analysis. Stochastic estimators outside the current field of fireball modelling have been applied, from Kalman filters to 3D particle filters. These techniques are fully automated and rigorously incorporate errors, providing a means to routinely analyse fireball data in an unbiased manner. | en_US |
