dc.description.abstract

WA Wheatbelt landholders’ perceptions of natural resource management extension and methods used to encourage adoption were investigated. A mixed method study using a quantitative online survey followed by qualitative interviews showed as respondents progress through the stages of adoption their preferences for the method of support they receive changes. Results support literature recommendations for NRM extension to develop a ‘train the trainer’ approach including application of the most beneficial methods at appropriate stages of adoption.
