dc.description.abstract

Due to the poor repeatability of land seismic surveys, onshore time-lapse seismic is not widely used in reservoir monitoring. However, time-lapse VSP seismic techniques can be used in addition to land seismic to increase the repeatability in reservoir characterization. The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the repeatability of onshore walkaway VSP and 4D VSP data and compare the results with surface seismic data as part of stage 2C of the CO2CRC Otway project.
