This thesis analyses how the Indonesian government seeks to mainstream adaptation into its development planning agenda. It adopts a multi-sited case study approach to explore how adaptation policies were formulated and practiced at national, municipal, and community levels. It focusses on analysing multi-level coordination efforts across the different ministries and local governments, and identifying barriers to successful mainstreaming within a developing country context. | en_US |
