dc.description.abstract |
There is little evidence for a structured approach in diabetes management. This research developed and evaluated the effectiveness of a diabetes tool for pharmacists. The Simpler™ tool contains evidence based indicators, was construct validated by experts from Australia and Malaysia, piloted in both countries and consequently refined based on pharmacists’ feedback. A randomised controlled trial utilising the tool improved patients’ clinical and quality of life outcomes. The Simpler™ tool facilitated provision of quality diabetes care. | en_US |
