The ultimate goal of the project is to develop compounds that could be used to purify drugs by separating the active component from its mirror image, the latter often causes undesired side effects. The project investigates the synthesis and testing of compounds that can act as potential membrane carriers to purify the asthma drug salbutamol. The investigations have made significant breakthroughs, establishing the groundwork that paves the way for further development of the project. | en_US |
