Abstract
In this project, the active and stable catalysts were successfully developed for methane reforming reactions under microwave heating. The monometallic Co, Cu, and Mo catalysts supported on either AhO3 or TiO2 were inactive under all tested conditions whilst their respective bimetallic CoMo and CuMo catalysts were highly active and stable at low microwave powers to produce desirable syngas ratios. The activation mechanism of metallicbased catalysts for reforming reactions under microwave heating was explored.
