In this I PhD explored the application of the circular economy theory to buildings. I employed methods based on systematic review and meta-analysis, life cycle assessment, case study method and method development. I proposed a method to calculate the circularity of a building. Further, I conceptualized the circular economy building Legacy Living Lab. It resulted that by applying the circular economy to buildings 88% of CO2 emissions can be saved. I produced 5 academic papers. | en_US |
