The research work is focused on development of a novel semifluidized bed reactor which is combination of packed and fluidized bed system for treatment of wastewater treatment. A novel composite adsorbent was synthesized from biomass-based biochar and alginate biopolymer. The adsorbent used as the solid phase of the system. Various aqueous phase heavy metals and organic pollutants were treated in the system to ensure the suitability of the reactor for industrial application. | en_US |
