dc.description.abstract

A major operational challenge that exists Photovoltaic systems is the vaialbility of their output power, which is mainly caused by the movements of clouds. In this thesis, using only one PV sensor and wavelet transform method, several approaches, such as GEP and ANFIS techniques, are proposed to improve the estimation accuracy of the overall generated power by the group of neighbouring small-scale rooftop PV systems.
