The material and structural characteristics of alkali activated materials were investigated. A mix design framework was proposed to consider the reactive composition of raw materials, with the mixes obtained optimised by the statistical method and curing regime. Subsequently, alkali activated concrete was examined in torsion and fatigue. Alkali activated concrete in torsion correlates well with the existing model for conventional concrete. A new testing methodology was proposed for the testing of concrete pavements in fatigue. | en_US |
