dc.description.abstract

The construction industry impacts greatly society, the economy, and the environment. The gap between the energy requirements and generation in the building sector pulled enormous emphasis on the selection of sustainable construction materials. This research aimed to develop an effective system to address this problem by using qualitative research in which technical experts interviewed. Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques evaluated and the TOPSIS technique used as a decision support system tool to verify the results.
