dc.description.abstract |
This qualitative research identified systemic barriers to sexual health from Asian women's perspectives. 22 women who migrated from six Asian nations identified little information on sexual health in their original nation, cultural taboo and sexual discrimination normalised ignorance. Internalised cultural barriers remained after migration, especially for women over 40. An empowerment model for engaging migrant women with their sexual health was developed for health professionals. | en_US |
