Using a novel, iterative and theoretically rigorous approach to the exploration of alcohol use in pregnancy, this project has provided an in-depth understanding of women’s beliefs, intentions, and social constructions regarding alcohol use in pregnancy and established an evidence base for future theory-informed prevention.
