This study replicates Kinderman et al.’s (2013) test of the revised biopsychosocial model of mental ill-health and extends that study by assessing whether behavioural processes mediate the relationships between biological, social and circumstantial factors on mental health problems and wellbeing. An online survey of 635 Australians was conducted. Results from structural equation modelling supported the hypothesised model, and the model explained a large percentage of the variances of wellbeing (72%) and mental health problems (83%). | en_US |
