dc.description.abstract

Based on the International Classification of Functioning, disability and health Core Sets for autism, this thesis presents proxy- and self-report versions of a measure intended to assess the functioning of school-aged children on the autism spectrum. Given that access to funding for disability supports and services in Australia is allocated according to level of functioning, this measure provides a way of gathering comprehensive information on functioning, with the potential to facilitate equitable access to supports.
