Abstract
Based on the published literature and the identified gaps, this study aimed to investigate the therapeutic intervention strategies in pancreatic cancer. Preclinical validation of cannabinoids in a relevant mouse model of pancreatic cancer was performed, and the therapy-associated changes in the gut microbiota/bile acid axis were assessed. Based on in vivo results, the biomarker potential of bile acids was evaluated in PC patients compared to healthy participants.
