dc.description.abstract

The Mesozoic was crucial to the development of the Exmouth Plateau, North West Shelf - Australia. Multiple tectonic events occurred at this time impacting the structural and stratigraphic development of the Exmouth Plateau. The orientation of faults which formed during this time is not consistent with the timing and orientation of seafloor spreading widely identified in this region.
