The 4 phases in this thesis provide clear directions for the future development of a multi-faceted and holistic approach to managing microvascular complications associated with type 2 diabetes, with focus on future endeavours in HR lowering therapy, correlation and predictive model analysis and implementing pharmacist-led service delivery models in primary care.
