    Abstract

The continued persistence and survival of tiger snake – a top predator - populations in urban wetlands is important for wetland ecosystems health. In this thesis, I investigated the population size, survival rates, rates of capture and behavioural responses of western tiger snakes in three different wetlands in Perth, Australia.
