dc.description.abstract |
This research investigates the impact of institutional factors on human resource development initiatives within the tourism sector of Myanmar, and the strategies organisations employ to deal with associated challenges. A case study research design was adopted, and seven case study organisations were chosen from four tourism zones of Myanmar. The findings highlight that the breadth and depth of organisational HRD activities employed reflect the unique institutional elements intrinsic to the country and the organisational capabilities. | en_US |
