Abstract
This study focuses on examining the effect of the biofilm microbiome on the effectiveness of chemical mitigation treatments for microbiologically influenced corrosion prevention. We evaluate the differences between various microbiome compositions and their resistance to biocides in different consortium microorganisms from the oil and gas industry. The outcomes of this project will benefit industry by indicating optimal pathways to adapt biocidal treatments in the field.
