This qualitative study explored the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis experiences of 20 Western Australian women. It expanded the PCOS body of knowledge by providing women living with the condition a voice, capturing both metropolitan, rural, and remote settings. Findings highlighted the difficult and frustrating journey to diagnosis and point to improving diagnosis experiences through better supporting and collaborating with women using a multidisciplinary team approach and raising community awareness. | en_US |
