    Abstract

Pancreatic cancer (PC) is a deadly metastatic disease with low survival rate. In recent decades, it has become evident that small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) play a role in intercellular communication in normal physiological and pathological conditions such as cancer. The main scope of the thesis was to characterise the PC derived sEV cargo using proteomic analysis and to explore the implication of sEV cargo in cancer mediated processes.
