Public policymaking and analysis is a part of social science and evolved as a solution to the social problems. Government intervention in the economic system necessitates policymaking. Market failure at different levels is considered to be the cause for public policymaking. Economic policymaking is about resource allocation, regulation and redistribution policies. This article also discusses the issues of equity and efficiency in public policymaking. | |
