Abstract
This article attempts to identify factors that influence the potential demandfor m-government service adoption in Japan by analysing survey responses.This study identifies smartphone ownership, mobile application activityand e-government subscription as demand drivers. These results suggestgovernment should encourage Juki cards and the e-tax payment systemadoption and support programmes to encourage smartphone ownershipand mobile application subscriptions.
