dc.description.abstract

This thesis explores the experiences of Māori adult students who graduated with a Bachelor of IT from Wintec, NZ. This research investigates the participants learning experiences, motivation and drive and considers why they achieved. Through interviews with these students, the research highlights the support systems that were used and covers the challenges experienced in a tertiary learning environment. The research is a qualitative study of the experiences of adult Māori students.
