dc.description.abstract

The Western Australian Group of University Librarians (WAGUL) was successful in obtaining a substantial grant form the Commonwealth Development Pool (CDP) to fund a major authentication project. The resulting WAGUL Authentication Project will deliver a distributed authentication infrastructure for the five Western Australian Universities. This paper describes the motivations for the project, the expected benefits and the journey itself.
