dc.description.abstract |
This study investigates the issue of volunteer motivation in the non-profit sector during organisational change, with a particular focus on older volunteers. The study uses mixed methods; primarily case-based action research. The focus is on the preparation, dissemination and consequences of communication during major change. The study investigates potential communication barriers which may challenge the volunteer culture, as well as the impact of increased professionalisation on volunteer motivation. | |
