    Abstract

© 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. Self-adhesive expanded graphite (EG)-based paper was reported for the first time to develop high-performance, low-cost, and flexible anodes of Li-ion batteries without extra additive and current collector. Compared with pure EG paper, Co3O4 nanoparticles-modified EG paper exhibited greatly enhanced electrochemical properties. The reversible capacity increased with cycles, and reached as high as 722 mAh/g at a current density of 100 mA/g after 50 cycles, which was 19.2% higher than that of the first cycle.
