The focus of this paper is on microfinance practices, which was adapted from the Grameen bank model in Bangladesh, in encouraging the poor to self generate income for their social and economic development. Hence, this paper intends to discuss on microfinance practices especially in less developed and developing countries including Malaysia and its contributions towards the sustainability and development of women entrepreneurs in Malaysia. | |
