Abstract
This research took place during nationwide educational reform efforts in Indonesia. The overarching aim was to investigate whether relationships exist between the principal’s leadership style, elements of the school climate (considered important for school improvement) and teachers’ self-efficacy. Data collected from a sample of 604 teachers from 27 high schools were used to test the hypothesised model using structural equation modelling. The results indicated statistically significant and positive relationships between the three main variables.
