Comparison of pulse propagation and gain saturation characteristics among different input pulse shapes in semiconductor optical amplifiersBarua, S.; Das, N.; Nordholm, Sven; Razaghi, M. (2016)This paper presents the pulse propagation and gain saturation characteristics for different input optical pulse shapes with different energy levels in semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs). A finite-difference beam ...
Analysis of ultrafast nonlinear phenomena's influences on output optical pulses and four-wave mixing characteristics in semiconductor optical amplifiersHosseini, S.; Razaghi, M.; Das, Narottam (2011)We have analysed the output pulse characteristics of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). It is shown that they can be modified due to the variation of input parameters, such as, gain, input pulsewidth, input pulse ...
Modelling and analysis of semiconductor optical amplifiers for high-speed communication systems using finite-difference beam propagation methodBarua, Suchi (2014)Semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) have attracted lots of interests because of their application potential in the field of optical communications. The output pulse of SOA can be changed due to the variation of input ...
