    Abstract

In this thesis, our aim is to provide an understanding and demonstration of the improved capabilities the new generation GNSSs/RNSSs has to offer. For this purpose we develop mathematical algorithms and conduct numerical data analyses for several of these new systems. The corresponding results are presented in the context of several single- and multi-GNSS observational models for various types of application, such as single-point positioning, maritime navigation, RTK positioning, attitude determination and ionospheric gradient monitoring.
