dc.description.abstract

Lucie Conoley creates maps that plot out people’s ’Most Important Places’, or ’MIPs’. Her maps are an individualised take on urban space, taking into account the emotional and psychological dimensions of the city and its public spaces. Her simplified graphic style has attracted many private and corporate commissions in London and elsewhere in the world. I met Lucie in her studio in Brixton and discussed how she developed her recognisable style and where she’s planning now to take her map images.
