dc.description.abstract

This thesis focuses on development of holistic approaches/techniques for accurate reserves estimation; and optimization of production performance considering a broader perspective from reserve estimation to tight gas field development through rigorous reservoir simulation studies and development of many simplified yet novel numerical tools; and adds new insights into exploitation and optimum development of tight gas fields emphasising to address and mitigated various critical challenges, especially encountered during appraisal and/or tight gas reservoir development phase.
