dc.description.abstract |
Probucol has shown its protective effect on pancreatic beta cells from inflammation and oxidation, but, it is a highly lipophilic oral drug with poor gut absorption and significant side effects that resulted in restrictions on its clinical prescribing. This study aimed to design new delivery systems for probucol using Lithocholic acid-based microcapsules to overcome these limitations and showed promising results. | en_US |
