The objective of this project is to evaluate the influence of an array of organic matter characteristics on the physical properties (elastic and dielectric) of artificial organic-rich shales. We found evidence of the impact of the following variables: thermal maturity, kerogen type, organic particles texture and deposition method. The achievements of this study are also technical. We designed an advanced compaction cell recording petrophysical and elastic properties during consolidation and an artificial thermal maturation equipment. | en_US |
