Abstract
This Master of Research thesis applies a categorical framework to investigate the design choices behind types of transmedia texts. In doing so, the terms Capitalist and Deliberate transmedia are offered. This research is in conjunction with a creative practice, an original transmedia text titled Prism Girl. Prism Girl is a published multimedia experience, spanning: a music album, videogame, and web narrative for a unified text.
