Abstract
The electron-photon coincidence method in the coherence analysis version has been applied to characterize electron impact excitation of 41P1 state of zinc atoms for 80 eV. The experimental values of the Stokes parameters and the electron impact coherence parameters are presented together with convergent close coupling theoretical data. Our results are compared with recently published relativistic distorted-wave approximation calculations.
