This book has been a collaboration between the Aboriginal workshop advisors, the Healthy Lifestyle Program Cultural Advisory Group, the Healthy Lifestyle Program team and Health Consumers’ Council WA. The book reports the findings from a workshop in April 2024 with 29 Aboriginal advisors (28 being Elders). The Aboriginal advisors wanted to ensure the cultural safety of a novel Healthy Lifestyle Program pilot for children, young people and their families in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. The workshop explored important considerations for adapting an evidence-based Healthy Lifestyle Program to ensure its success. Advisors wanted to have a book to share their voices from the workshop – this is the creative output of their perspectives. The book is available as a PDF attached above and in virtual book format under the additional URL section above. © Curtin University except where otherwise noted.
