dc.description.abstract

This study is a formative evaluation of a school nurse mental health promotion practice framework which is intended to increase the effectiveness of school nurses in the management of secondary school student mental health concerns. Using mixed methods this study ascertained students, parents, and teachers understanding of the role of the school health nurse. The eventual goal is to improve adolescent mental health outcomes.
