Robust repeated pole placement
MetadataShow full item record
We consider the classic problem of pole placement by state feedback. Recently offered an eigenstructure assignment algorithm to obtain a novel parametric form for the pole-placing gain matrix to deliver any set of desired closed-loop eigenvalues, with any desired multiplicities. In this paper we employ this parametric formula to introduce an unconstrained nonlinear optimisation algorithm to obtain a gain matrix that delivers any desired pole placement with optimal robustness.

Paleomagnetism of the Jurassic Transantarctic Mountains revisited - Evidence for large dispersion of apparent polar wander within less than 3MyrLemna, O.; Bachtadse, V.; Kirscher, Uwe; Rolf, C.; Petersen, N. (2014)The Transantarctic mountains predominantly consist of Jurassic continental flood basalts (Kirkpatrick) and sills (Ferrar) emplaced during the earliest phase of the break-up of Pangea. Published ages, based on a variety ...
Fennoscandia before Nuna/Columbia: Paleomagnetism of 1.98–1.96 Ga mafic rocks of the Karelian craton and paleogeographic implicationsLubnina, N.; Pisarevskiy, Sergei; Stepanova, A.; Bogdanova, S.; Sokolov, S. (2017)Numerous mafic dykes, sills and intrusions with ages between 1985 Ma and 1960 Ma are exposed near the Onega Lake in southern Karelia, Russia. The paleomagnetic analysis of these rocks has revealed a stable remanence with ...
Palaeomagnetism of palaeozoic glacial sediments of northern ethiopia: A contribution towards african permian palaeogeographyKidane, T.; Bachtadse, V.; Alene, M.; Kirscher, Uwe (2013)One hundred fourteen oriented palaeomagnetic core samples were collected from 13 palaeomagnetic sites on subhorizontal to tilted glacial sediments at five localities of Northern Ethiopia. Combined alternating field (AF) ...
