Abstract
We present left-right spin asymmetries for elastic and inelastic scattering of electrons from thallium. Being a heavy target (Z = 81), the spin asymmetries can be mediated by relativistic effects (spin-orbit interactions) in addition to exchange effects. We find overall excellent agreement with experiment.
