    Abstract

This series constituted the only work from a Western Australian artist included in PHOTO2020, a major new international festival of photography that was delivered over 25 cultural institutions, museums, galleries and universities across Melbourne. The inaugural theme invited artists, curators, writers and academics to interrogate the relationship between photography and truth in the post-internet age.

The entire series (Corrupt) was exhibited at the RMIT Gallery as part of the curated exhibition titled The Image Looks Back which involved national and international artists whose work addressed the emerging theme of ‘post-photography’. In order to be produced to an international standard, the work received a grant from the Western Australian Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries.
